The end of the year is always a good time to clean out your closet, or treat yourself with some new tools. Therefore, until the end of this year, Amptec will launch a “cash for trash”-campaign for the DPA d:vote 4099 instrument microphones.
The principle is very simple: trade in any microphone, working or not, and receive an additional 15% discount on the purchase of a d:vote 4099! Your regular discount still applies too.
First released in 2008 as the 4099, throughout the years DPA’s d:vote became ‘The Industry Standard’ clip-on microphone for live-sound and studio applications.
Thanks to an excellent off-axis rejection, controlled proximity-effect and nearly flat off-axis response, crosstalk between instruments is no longer an issue. Even when using multiple microphones close to each other, nearby monitor wedges and FOH-speakers, they will deliver a phase-coherent and punchy sound.
Because the DPA d:vote™ has an impressive SPL handling of up to 152dB, it is being used anywhere from classical orchestras, to Dr. John, Stevie Wonder and Nick Cave’s pianos, John Pattituci’s bass, and Tindersticks’ 17-piece string section to the drum kits of bands like Royal Blood, Metallica, Selah Sue, Oscar and The wolf, Steve Gadd, and many more.
The current line-up includes exchangeable clips to be used with violin, cello, double bass, trumpet, sax, clarinet, acoustic guitar, banjo, drums, percussion, piano, etc.
Throughout the years we sold an impressive number of d:vote’s, 4099’s and touring kits.
We expect to sell the 3000th the upcoming weeks, and the lucky buyer of number 3000 will receive a d:vote 4099 of his/her choice free of charge.
This promotion is valid until December 31st 2015.
